Deleted the profile and re bonded the phone. Reset the directory and bluetooth to factory settings. Installed "Bluetooth Phonebook" app - this shows as this Audi MMI syncing with the app, but the contacts still don't display. Something I found on the internet said that on Samsung phones the contacts have to be in the "My contacts" group. HAve tried to go into the settings to reset but cannot get past the message noted above 'telephone not installed'. There are odd comments on google that say a new control unit is required at £500 from Audi which is horrendously expensive. a) can it be rebooted or similar or can a replacement be sorted at a fraction of £500? Oct 15, 2010 · If you have car with MMI 3G, but with no phone prep, SAP or bluetooth, you can enable Bluetooth with VCDS. (Every MMI 3G unit has Bluetooth unit inside.) Another usefull, money saving mod with VCDS. :thumbsup: It' s only for MMI 3G, don't ask me if it is possible for Radio (Concert, Symphony, etc) or MMI 2G.
